About the Opportunity
Nelson Hospital's General Surgery Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Registrar to join our team. As a Surgical Registrar, you will be responsible for managing patients' care plans, participating in acute on-call rosters, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various specialties, including ENT, Urology, Surgery, and Vascular medicine.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred outcomes.
  • Participate in acute on-call rosters, including nights and weekends.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.

About the Team/Service/Location:
The General Surgery Department at Nelson Hospital provides a wide range of elective and acute general surgical procedures. The department covers gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, and laparoscopic surgery, with fully equipped operating theatres, endoscopy suites, and advanced diagnostic resources.
