About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in providing support services to individuals affected by eating disorders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing positive working relationships with clients, providing support around meals, grocery shopping, and food preparation, and promoting connections with family and whānau, communities, and other health services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for mental health and a willingness to learn and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support services to individuals affected by eating disorders
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients
  • Support clinical staff in delivery of services to clients
  • Promote connections with family and whānau, communities, and other health services
