**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Manager to lead our daily food programs at the Ymca Of Downtown Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our cafeteria, including meal preparation, cooking, and distribution.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food and related products.
  • Prepare meals for kids in our early learning center, after-school, and teen programs.
  • Develop and implement menus, taking into account events and requirements within the assigned locations.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and schedule repairs and additional maintenance as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and allergy plans.
  • Assist with budget management and maintain control of the kitchen to ensure efficient and effective task completion.

**Requirements:**

  • ServeSafe certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license or ability to travel between assigned locations is necessary.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer and tablet functions, including Microsoft Office, is required.
