About the Role
You'll be part of our Assessment group, responsible for assessing applications by overseas investors to acquire New Zealand assets and making assessments on acquisitions and disposals under the Public Works Act. As a Customer Regulatory Specialist, you'll work collaboratively with others to ensure we meet legislative requirements and timeframes for our overseas investors. Your primary role will be assessing applications, exercising sound judgment, and effectively conveying your analyses and recommendations to decision-makers, including Ministers and applicants. You'll also be involved in assessing and making recommendations on Official Information Act requests and contribute to any projects we have on the go.

Key Responsibilities
- Assessing applications by overseas investors to acquire New Zealand assets
- Making assessments on acquisitions and disposals under the Public Works Act
- Collaborating with others to meet legislative requirements and timeframes
- Exercising sound judgment and effectively conveying analyses and recommendations to decision-makers
- Contributing to projects as needed
