About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Surgeon to join our dynamic team at Waikato Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established and experienced group of surgeons, providing tertiary services for the Te Manawa Taki regional population.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing vascular and endovascular surgery, as well as providing clinical leadership and education to junior staff members. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to research and clinical trials through our affiliation with the University of Auckland.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have completed FRACS (Vascular) or equivalent qualification, have expertise and experience in vascular ultrasound, and demonstrated leadership ability. Additionally, applicants must hold or be eligible for Vocational Registration with the Medical Council.
