Our ACC Sensitive Claims Service

We are seeking registered contractors to join our network of mental health providers, including counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers with counselling registration. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who have experienced sexual abuse or assault, and contribute to their recovery through expert assessment, treatment, and intervention.

Responsibilities of Named Service Providers

  • Adhere to professional standards and regulations
  • Follow our policies and procedures while working with clients
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy protocols
  • Keep accurate, professional clinical records
  • Provide timely and thorough reports and patient notes upon request
  • Submit invoices punctually and accurately
  • Uphold a high standard of care and represent Mandara Wellness professionally
  • Use the CMS system for case management and client records

Qualifications Needed

  • Registration as a health provider with ACC (or willingness to complete the onboarding process with our guidance)
  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • A membership of a relevant professional body
  • A current police vetting and a Children's Worker check
  • Familiarity with ACC regulations and reporting standards
  • A minimum of two years equivalent full-time post-graduate experience working in mental health (not including clinical placements and internships)
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault, with this experience having been obtained or maintained in the last five years (if relevant)
