The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic care and support to our clients, working closely with our experienced team to promote total wellness and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support to individuals in a mental health respite setting
  • Assisting with daily tasks, budgeting, and independent living skills
  • Attending appointments and advocating for clients
  • Connecting clients with their communities and promoting social inclusion
  • Cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care, or helping with everyday tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Hold a Level 4 Certificate in Mental Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent)
  • Current full New Zealand driver's licence
  • Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Knowledge of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
