Join Our Team of Contractors as Named Service Providers with Mandara Wellness – Bay of Plenty area

Mandara Wellness, based in Papamoa, is calling on qualified and experienced health professionals to collaborate with us in providing high-quality assessment, treatment, and intervention for clients under ACC sensitive claims service and private referrals.

Our Sensitive Claims Service supports, assesses, and treats Kiritaki (clients) who have experienced sexual abuse or assault and are entitled to services under the Accident Compensation Act 2001. Our named service providers are instrumental in delivering quality diagnostic and clinical assessments under this program.

This Service puts Kiritaki at the center of their recovery and brings together a range of supports and treatment to assist Kiritaki with their recovery.

Our interdisciplinary team is made up of dedicated psychologists and counsellors. A collaborative and supportive environment fosters the best care, so we offer peer supervision, discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

We are actively seeking the following registered contractors to join our ACC Sensitive Claims Service and private referral network:

1. Counsellors (Level 6 and 7)
2. Psychotherapists
3. Psychologists
4. Psychiatrists
5. Social Workers with counselling registration

All providers must be registered with ACC as health providers before delivering services. If you aren't registered, our team at Mandara Wellness will support you through the ACC onboarding and registration process.

As a Mandara Wellness contractor, you'll be expected to:

1. Adhere to professional standards and ACC regulations
2. Follow our policies and procedures while working with clients
3. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy protocols
4. Keep accurate, professional clinical records
5. Provide timely and thorough reports and patient notes upon request
6. Submit invoices punctually and accurately
7. Uphold a high standard of care and represent Mandara Wellness professionally
8. Use the CMS system for case management and client records

- Registration as a health provider with ACC (or willingness to complete the onboarding process with our guidance)

- A current Annual Practicing Certificate

- Hold a membership of a relevant professional body

- A current police vetting and a Children's Worker check

- Familiarity with ACC regulations and reporting standards

- A minimum of two years equivalent full-time post-graduate experience working in mental health (not including clinical placements and internships)

- Ability to demonstrate experience in working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault with this experience having been obtained or maintained in the last five years (if relevant)

- Registered under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (if relevant)
