Baker - Northland

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Country Bake Northland Limited. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and leading our team to achieve exceptional results.

• Oversee the production of bread, rolls, and pastry products, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Manage a diverse team of bakers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective production.
• Develop and maintain the baked goods menu, including costing and food control plans.
• Coordinate the production schedule and plan daily and weekly tasks.
• Assist with selecting and training new staff and leading the baking teams across the group.

• Minimum 5 years of baking experience and/or a Cookery diploma of level 5 or above.
• Experience with managing a diverse team and adapting to change.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a hot kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.

Full-time positions are minimum 30 hours to a maximum of 40 hours rostered weekly shifts. Part-time positions may be considered, but we are seeking full-time bakers.
