We are currently seeking a fulltime Pastry cook Assistant to join our Team at The Cheesecake Shop Whangrei.

Primary Job duties and Responsibilities are
- prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work place.
- Other general tasks as required.

**Requirements**:
**Skills must include**: performing routine tasks to assist the head baker or pastry chef in a fast paced environment, with consistent alertness in monitoring large quantities of baking. Food hygiene is priority.

The shop is open 7 days and must be available to work on weekends.

**Salary**: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
