Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic academic to join our team as a Professor or Associate Professor in Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our department and shape the future of accounting education and research.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving impactful and high-quality research that enhances our department's international profile. Your expertise should focus on sustainability accounting, indigenous accounting and accountability, forensic accounting, and production accounting for the film and game industry.

You will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to curriculum development aligned with our department's needs.

In addition, you will provide mentorship and supervision to postgraduate research students, guiding them to success in their academic endeavors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A PhD in Accounting or a closely related field
  • A strong international reputation in accounting research and teaching, with a proven track record of publications in A and A ranked ABDC list journals
  • Outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality educational experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with external stakeholders and make a positive impact on the local and global accounting community
  • Proven leadership skills, with a willingness and ability to take on leadership roles within the department, school, and university
  • Commitment to departmental, university, and professional service activities
