Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at Bluecurrent, a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic energy sector.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate mitigation, response, and investigation efforts when security incidents arise.
  • Provide support and feedback to other Senior Cyber Security Analysts and Engineers to improve their efficiency and know-how.
  • Operational work (BAU) on multiple security systems, including Level 2 support.
  • Collaborate with cyber service providers to ensure smooth service delivery and compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement continuous improvements for service performance and ensure user satisfaction across the organisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have a degree in information, cyber security, or a related field with security certifications such as SANS or CREST Certification, GCIH, OSCP, Security+, CISSP, and 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience across:

  • Securing cloud environments and understanding cloud security frameworks.
  • Analysing network traffic and usage of Deep Packet Inspection tools.
  • Analysing endpoints, networks, and application logs.
  • Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Web and Email Security, Endpoint Security, and SIEM.
  • Akamai - Web Security and Performance, Rapid7 Insight VM - Vulnerability scanning, Dome9 - Cloud Security and Compliance, Check Point Cloud Guard - Security Inspection and Segmentation, Check Point Endpoint Protection, OKTA Password Policy / Multi-Factor Authentication.
  • Implementation of standards, especially NIST, ISO/IEC 2700x.
