We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Court Security Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our justice system and providing a welcoming environment for people who enter our courts.

You will work closely with other agencies such as Police and Corrections to ensure smooth court operations. Your key responsibilities will include assessing potential health, safety, and security risks, and mitigating and responding to incidents as they occur.

This is a 40-hour-a-week role with some paid overtime available when extra cover is required. You may also be required to work a minimum 4-hour shift on Saturdays.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a high level of customer service experience
  • ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • confidence in using technology
  • a positive mindset and a can-do attitude
  • a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and a clean criminal record.
