Tauranga Girls' College is a thriving educational institution with a student population of 1500 and over 120 teaching and support staff. Our vision is to empower learners to make a positive impact in the world. As a key member of our team, the Student Wellbeing Coordinator will play a vital role in providing healthcare services for students and staff, managing the health centre resources effectively, and supporting referrals to in-house services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the health centre and ensuring its smooth operation
- Managing health centre resources, including personnel and facilities
- Acting as a first responder in emergency situations
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student information
- Providing administrative and pastoral support to students and staff
We value Manaakitanga, Mahi Tahi, and Mana Motuhake at Tauranga Girls' College. This role is a permanent, part-time position of 27.5 hours per week, term time only, and falls within Grade 3 Steps 5-8 of the Support Staff Collective. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to student wellbeing.
