The Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents.
Your Responsibilities
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and other resident-related information
- Risk Management: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act
- General Safety: Practice safety procedures at all times, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, family members, and staff
Your Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
