Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Senior Advisor - Strategic Asset Management Planning. This key position plays a crucial role in supporting Asset Management improvement initiatives to lift the Asset Management maturity and capability across the Council. As a Senior Advisor, you will:
  • Assist in the revision of Council's asset management system, contributing to maturity assessments and related improvement programmes.
  • Ensure Asset Management improvements align with Council priorities and legislative requirements, contributing towards improvement in AM Maturity.
  • Support the development of Asset Management Plans, Infrastructure Strategy, Long Term and Annual Plans.
  • Engage with business units across Council and be dedicated to championing asset management excellence.

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in Asset management planning.
  • At least five years' experience in a similar environment.
  • A sound understanding of formal guidelines such as NAMS, IPWEA International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ideally, experience using asset management systems, including but not limited to SAP, GIS, RAMM, BIM, SCADA and Infonet.
  • The ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with a focus on meeting timeframes and objectives.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and foster strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to establish visions and targets.
