Job Description

The Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director, Procurement will be responsible for managing procurement operations, including reviewing and implementing procurement policies and procedures, developing roadmaps for procurement systems, and leading the procurement operational team to deliver service level agreements commitments.

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives that improve procurement processes and efficiency.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, with at least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Good understanding of government procurement policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
