Backed by a diverse and engaged team of Directors, we are seeking a motivated Solicitor to join our talented team.
About the Role
This exciting opportunity allows you to become part of Taranaki's leading Commercial Property team. As a key member, you will work on a variety of commercial transactions, from small to significant M&A deals, commercial contracts of all sizes, asset and succession planning, commercial property buying, selling, management, and leasing. You will also be responsible for overseeing residential conveyancing transactions.
The ideal candidate will be confident in handling commercial and property matters with autonomy and a proactive approach. While requiring a high degree of independence, we provide strong mentorship and guidance from senior team members and Directors, ensuring ongoing professional growth and support.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with at least two years of post-qualification experience who brings:
- Proven experience across a broad range of commercial and property law matters
- Exposure to trusts and estates (advantageous but not essential)
- The ability to confidently manage files from start to finish
- Strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
- A proactive, self-motivated approach
- A friendly, team-oriented personality that fits seamlessly into our culture
- Possession of a passion for your work and aspirations for career growth
