Role Overview:
A Learning Facilitator plays a vital role in supporting parents, caregivers, and whanau on session. This involves ensuring sessions run smoothly, providing guidance to kaiako, and catering to the needs of tamariki. The successful candidate will embody Playcentre philosophy and current practices, fostering a whanau-led culture and promoting positive guidance.

About the Role:
We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic Learning Facilitators to join our well-resourced and vibrant Playcentre community. You will work alongside members and tamariki to guide session activities, facilitate learning through child-led play, and support planning and assessment for learning. Our ideal candidates will model Playcentre philosophy and good practice while empowering whanau to gain confidence in running sessions themselves.

Responsibilities:
- Guide session activities and facilitate learning
- Support planning and assessment for learning
- Foster a whanau-led culture and promote positive guidance
- Model Playcentre philosophy and good practice

Requirements:
- Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification, or higher Early Childhood Education qualification
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate, or be prepared to complete this
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience at centre level communicating with both tamariki and adults
- Ability to support and empower parents, whanau, and caregivers in their role as Kaiako
