Freight Handler Position

At Team Global Express, we're expanding our parcel division and seeking two part-time Parcel Sorters to join our Auckland branch. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of our team's growth and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers.
About the RoleWe're looking for physically fit individuals with excellent coordination skills and some experience working with freight. Your primary responsibility will be assisting with the safe handling of freight, achieving target delivery goals, and providing an on-time, damage-free service.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading all freight safely and securely
- Achieving branch operational objectives by efficiently scanning freight using On-time
- Ensuring documentation accompanying freight is complete
- Operating equipment in a safe and proficient manner
- Actioning bay labels, re-stacking damaged freight, and protecting leaking products
Maintaining good working relationships and communicating effectively within a team environment are essential aspects of this role.
What We're Looking ForTo succeed in this position, you'll need prior work experience in the freight industry, a strong health and safety focus, and relevant certifications such as an OSH approved forklift certificate and F endorsed licence (preferably). Additionally, having some knowledge of dangerous goods laws would be beneficial.
