About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Emergency Department at Wellington Regional Hospital.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and be able to work independently and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Team/Service/Location

The Emergency Department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that provides a tertiary level 6 emergency service to patients. We are committed to delivering high-quality and safe care, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and experiences.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and has a strong commitment to ongoing learning and development.

  • You will have experience in emergency nursing and be registered as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
  • You will have comprehensive knowledge of the NZ health system, district environments, systems, and processes.
  • You will have expertise in leadership, management, coaching, and mentoring approaches.
  • You will be proficient in advanced nursing procedures and have exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
