Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join our Housekeeping team at Ashford Care Home in Prebbleton. As a skilled Cleaner - Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our Care Home.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule.
  • Manage cleaning supplies to ensure they are always available when needed.
  • Meet daily schedule to ensure that residents' rooms and public areas are in perfect order.
  • Report any faults or issues to the Household supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is highly desirable.
  • You should be enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about making a difference in our residents' lives.
  • You must be able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
  • Reliable transport or travel arrangements are essential.
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
