We are looking for two reliable, detail-oriented cleaners to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation at Luxurious Central City Living, a high-end property located at Park Avenue and Kilmore Street, Christchurch, near Hagley Park — rated Exceptional 9.9/10 by our guests

About the Role

You will be responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a luxury 2-bedroom apartment that is highly rated for its immaculate presentation, beautiful styling, and modern features. Our guests expect hotel-level cleanliness and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Thorough cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas and outdoor space.
  2. Preparing the apartment for new guest arrivals (making beds, setting out amenities).
  3. Ensuring outdoor areas (courtyard garden, outdoor dining spaces) are tidy and welcoming.
  4. Laundry duties, including towels and linen management.
  5. Reporting any maintenance issues or damages.
  6. Replenishing supplies and amenities as required.
  7. Ensuring security protocols are followed when entering and exiting the property.

About You

  1. Previous residential or hotel cleaning experience (preferred but not essential for the right person).
  2. High attention to detail with a focus on delivering exceptional cleanliness.
  3. Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude.
  4. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Good communication skills (reporting and liaising with management).
  6. Physically fit and able to undertake all cleaning duties.
  7. Trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility, as you'll work in a high-end private residence.
  8. Part-time / Casual (with potential for ongoing regular work depending on bookings and performance).
  9. Flexible hours depending on guest turnover — typically mid-morning to early afternoon (between 10am and 2pm).
  10. Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
  11. 2-8 hours work per week.
