We're looking for a skilled Branch Mechanic to join our team in Thorndon. As a key member of the hardworking branch team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide variety of hire plant.
The ideal candidate will be trade-qualified or have significant relevant experience working on petrol and diesel plants. You'll need to be prepared to help out across all areas of branch operations where necessary, supporting your team and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of hire plant equipment
- Providing expert assistance to colleagues and customers in the branch
- Attending breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites
- Answering phone queries and raising customer contracts
- Offering advice to customers on tools and machinery
- Supporting and guiding newer team members
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Full Driver Licence (other classes and endorsements an advantage) and a relevant trade qualification or significant job experience with both petrol and diesel plant.
