We operate from 4 sites with over 150 staff, dedicated to innovative processing and providing fresh, high-quality NZ pork products to New Zealanders. Our exciting opportunity is for a Livestock Supply Operations Manager to lead our livestock procurement and Farmer relationship program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting and progressing farmer relationship and livestock procurement strategy
  • Managing our livestock procurement and liaising with farmers to enhance our livestock supply
  • Taking an active role in our wider Industry and regulatory authorities to guide factors influencing our business or industry

This strategic leadership role requires creating strong relationships through effective communication across our business, our farmers, and our wider industry. You'll be responsible for supply compliance programs, including maintaining our Code of Practice, managing the PigCare program, and overseeing relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Experience as a strategic leader with effective communication skills
  • Commercial aptitude for modeling and analyzing supply to support decision making
  • Able to think ahead and evolve a strategy supporting long-term viability and sustainability of our business and value chain
