About the Role

We are seeking an experienced strategic leader to join our team as Chief Livestock Procurement Officer. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role involves setting and progressing our farmer relationship and livestock procurement strategy, managing our livestock procurement, and liaising with our farmers to manage and enhance our livestock supply.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a livestock procurement program that ensures appropriate quality supply meeting market requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal supply chain teams, farmer suppliers, and industry experts to achieve effective supply chain management.
  • Maintain Supply Compliance programs, including Code of Practice, Pig Care program, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze supply data to support informed decision making on supply requirements and contractual agreements.
