We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Markets Leader to join our team in Auckland. As an experienced financial markets expert and senior team member, you will provide sound technical leadership across domestic markets, driving the day-to-day implementation of operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership and drive business outcomes through effective management of domestic markets.
  • Support the Manager with strategic planning, coaching, and mentoring others to achieve success.
  • Engage with stakeholders and represent the team with integrity, resolving issues as they arise.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • An in-depth understanding of New Zealand financial markets and institutions.
  • Extensive practical experience working in a commercial bank, asset manager or official institution treasury or trading environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A positive, collaborative approach and the desire to work across a complex organisation at a senior level.
