Role Overview:

The Exterior Detailer is responsible for ensuring that new and pre-owned vehicles are presented in the best possible light. This involves thorough cleaning and detailing of the vehicle's exterior and interior.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for display or delivery
  2. Ensure all vehicles meet dealership standards for cleanliness and appearance
  3. Take high-quality photos of inventory for marketing purposes
  4. Collaborate with the Sales Team to maintain an attractive and well-maintained vehicle inventory display

Daily Tasks:

  1. Wash and dry the vehicle's exterior, including windows and door jambs
  2. Apply a protective coating to the auto body and polish the surface
  3. Thoroughly vacuum the interior of vehicles to remove dirt and debris
  4. Clean and protect upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces
  5. Use specialized equipment to clean the engine and engine compartment
  6. Inspect vehicles for damage and restore them to showroom condition as needed

Essential Skills:

  • No prior experience necessary
  • Basic understanding of instructions and safety protocols
  • Valid driver's license and good driving history
