Purpose of the Position:

The primary purpose of the Get Ready Team Member role is to aid the sales and marketing efforts of the dealership through cleaning and refurbishing new and pre-owned vehicles for dealership display or delivery to customers. The efforts of the Get Ready Team are essential in order for the Sales Team to be able to provide a quality experience for our guests in a timely fashion.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for delivery to customers
2. Clean and prepare new and pre-owned inventory for retail display
3. Taking photos of inventory ready for retail display
4. Review images from photos for quality control purposes
5. Assisting the Sales Team in maintaining the vehicle inventory display (inventory location, alignment, etc.)
6. Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances

Daily Tasks:

1. Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down door jambs
2. Applies wax to the auto body, and wipes or buffs surface
3. Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
4. Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices
5. Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals
6. Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents
7. Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations
8. Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation
9. Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials as directed / needed
10. Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection
11. Applies dressing on tires and tire wells
12. Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times
13. Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window
14. Follow the documented process to capture images of new and pre-owned vehicles for digital marketing efforts on our websites and other digital properties
15. Keep the work area neat and clean
16. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
17. Reports any safety issues immediately to management
18. Other duties as assigned

2. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
3. Must be able to safely handle the strength demands of the power washer
4. Lifting requirements vary but no more than 75 lbs
5. Must be able to pass a work required physical

Qualifications:

1. No previous experience required.
2. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
3. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
