Volunteer Role

We are seeking a Conservation Volunteer Coordinator to join our team at Volunteering Waikato. In this role, you will coordinate volunteer activities, support the restoration of Mangaonua, and promote native plant growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating volunteer activities and events.
  • Supporting the removal of invasive vines and promotion of native plant growth.
  • Assisting with the planting of native shrubs and trees during the winter months.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, a passion for conservation, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
