Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic sales team members to join our team at Mitre 10 Mega Nelson. As a sales team member, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find the right products for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising customers about the range of products we have on offer;
  • Helping customers select the right tools and materials for their DIY or building projects;
  • Working within our Power Tools, Hardware, Automotive and ready to assemble storage department;
  • Developing strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for customer service excellence;
  • Good time management skills;
  • A quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible;
  • Willingness to learn; and
  • Excellent communication skills.

Previous retail experience and experience with the use of power tools and building products will be viewed favorably. We are looking for two roles - a full-time role at 40 hours per week and a part-time role at 16 hours per week, including at least one weekend day.
