The Financial Services audit team at KPMG works with prominent financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, and funds providers. As an Audit Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' success by providing expert guidance and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audit assignments, developing strategies to ensure effective completion
  • Managing client relationships, fostering strong partnerships built on trust and expertise
  • Coordinating audit teams, allocating tasks and resources to meet deadlines
  • Identifying and mitigating business and audit risks, implementing effective controls
  • Providing technical guidance, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Membership of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or equivalent overseas professional body
  • 3+ years of experience in audit roles, preferably within a Big Four firm
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including accounting packages and data analysis tools
