Role Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in Petone as a Materials Handler. In this role, you will be assisting our trade and DIY customers in the yard, involved in picking orders, ensuring stock is replenished and stored correctly, getting our trucks ready for deliveries, and giving our customers excellent service every time.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and preparing customer orders for delivery or collection
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Assisting with receiving and stocking goods
  • Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous customer service experience or building and timber knowledge
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
