About ARC Vets

Auckland-based veterinary practice ARC Vets is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join its dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing urgent care to emergency patients, managing specialist inpatients, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Urgent medical, surgical, and critical care services
  • Assessing the urgency and severity of presenting problems through history taking, examination, and investigation
  • Recommending and undertaking treatment options under a treatment plan
  • Referring cases to ARC specialists for diagnostic, therapeutic, and support services as required
  • Preparing accurate and detailed notes, clinical summaries, and client communications
