The Opportunity
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of food services at Te Toka Tumai Auckland, including in-hospital patient meals, meals on wheels, catering, and retail outlets.
  • Represent Compass Group NZ and Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora by delivering high-quality services that meet client needs and contractual obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and performance standards.
Your Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and guidance to employees and clients, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with contractual and business KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, attending regular meetings to ensure clear communication and process improvement.
  • Delve high-quality services and products in line with contractual and legislative guidelines, conducting weekly ward-based visits and client meetings.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and training of staff, ensuring compliance with Compass Group Training Programme and Whanganui DHB policies.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, maintaining a safe and secure workplace and adhering to Compass HSEQ systems and procedures.
