**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Assistant to join our team at the Christchurch Health Campus. As an Operating Theatre Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the theatre team during surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity to launch your career in a fast-paced and rewarding field.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Transporting and transferring patients safely and efficiently
  • Collecting equipment for surgical procedures across all specialties
  • Setting up and cleaning theatres according to infection control protocols
  • Managing linen and supplies to ensure a smooth operating environment

**Requirements**

  • A high level of fitness to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Previous experience as an Operating Theatre Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Motivated and flexible self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills
