Our Personal Banking team is a key part of this vision, working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.

We're seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Programme Compliance team within Personal Banking. In this role, you'll provide compliance support to our businesses, ensuring they meet obligations under laws, regulations, and internal policies.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of banking and the regulatory environment, as well as expertise in Financial Crime, Deposit Takers Act, and CCCFA. They'll be able to drive change and process improvement, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation of compliance frameworks, standards, and processes for applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Support core compliance activities for Personal Banking, including control development and enhancement, incident and issue management, and compliance self-assessments.
  • Participate in Personal Banking and pan-bank projects, strategic initiatives, and business changes as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a corporate or professional services environment (banking, compliance, or legal).
  • Tertiary qualification in a Legal or similar discipline is desirable.
