Longveld is seeking a skilled Site Support Specialist to join our team. As a Site Support Specialist, you'll provide critical support with repairs and maintenance across our site, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

About the Position

In this role, you'll perform general repairs and maintenance tasks onsite, including audits and inspections. You'll also be responsible for keeping workshops and the yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free, and ensuring rubbish bins are emptied regularly.

You'll operate equipment such as forklifts to load and unload materials, maintain Longveld's fleet and plant as required, and operate Longveld vehicles to support collections and deliveries.

Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic Light/Heavy vehicle maintenance experience
  • Class 4 or 5 licence (ideal)

You'll be able to work productively, accurately, and independently, and use your initiative to solve problems. Strong communication skills and a good understanding of safety requirements in a workshop environment are essential for this role.
