Role Overview
Dicker Data NZ is seeking a skilled Vendor Marketing Assistant to join its dynamic Marketing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with Product Managers/Business Unit Managers to ensure our vendors and their products are promoted effectively through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing quarterly marketing plans for the relevant teams.
  • Organize and manage claims for MDF activities to capture available funding.
  • Liaise weekly with Product Managers/Business Unit Managers to ensure key products are covered.
  • Work with the Dicker Data team to execute marketing activities on time.
  • Maintain vendor pages on the Dicker website and dedicated microsites up-to-date.
  • Drive social media engagement for vendors with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Write and submit asset design requests for assets required from the Marketing team.
  • Proactively engage with vendors to capture incremental MDF each quarter.

To Succeed, You Will Have:
  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in marketing program coordination.
  • Degree qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • A high level of self-motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Proficient knowledge of modern social media platforms (LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter).
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Intermediate MS Office Applications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with key personnel across the business.
