Company Overview

The Agency For Science, Technology And Research Procurement Division is responsible for overseeing all procurement policies, systems, and activities. This includes three functional teams in Operations, Governance, Category Management, and Special Projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive a culture of procurement compliance through continuous monitoring, improvement, and training to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class methods for smart audits using data analytics and industry best practices.
  • C Coordinate with the Procurement Operations team to respond to procurement audits.
  • Provide analytical insights on commodities and macro-economic trends to inform strategies.
  • Maintain specialist/domain knowledge of specific commodities and develop effective commodities management strategies.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business priorities, propose operational strategies, and execute initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to translate data into intelligence.
  • Independent individual with clear communication skills for stakeholder persuasion and management reporting.
  • Resourceful individual with active listening skills to gather information and anticipate next steps.
  • Situational problem-solving skills to concisely address complex problems.
  • Good project management skills to deliver results within given resources and timelines.
