Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at Idemia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of project and program strategies, objectives, and needs across various purchasing scopes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure purchasing activities align with diverse programs' objectives and organizational goals.
• Support Pre-Sales teams by providing cost analysis, quotations, and negotiating back-to-back terms across various categories.
• Work closely with program teams to ensure cost efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery for a broad range of products and services.
• Develop and manage category strategies that enhance innovation, quality, and cost-effectiveness while improving internal stakeholder service.
• Source suppliers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate supplier selection across multiple categories and program scopes.
• Perform thorough analyses to recommend purchasing strategies employing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles for diverse purchasing needs.
• Build and maintain strong, continuous relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth contract implementation, identify new business opportunities, and mitigate risks.
• Challenge internal needs, conduct RFIs/RFQs, and negotiate favorable agreements that maximize cost-effectiveness and competitive advantages across various project types.
• Contribute to Design to Cost initiatives for tenders and ongoing contracts.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to drive innovation and supplier-led solutions across varied scopes.
• Lead the negotiation and execution of supplier contracts ensuring they align with the diverse and evolving needs of the business.
