About the Role
- We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-informed treatment to individuals over 65 years with diverse mental health needs.
- You will work closely with tangata whaiora primarily within the community and also in an inpatient mental health setting.
- This role offers opportunities for ongoing professional development, research, and/or assisting tertiary level training.
Job Requirements
- A registered Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Experience and skill in Older Persons Psychology or a keen interest to learn and develop skills within this specialist area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality psychological treatment in an autonomous role.
- Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
