The Canterbury District Health Board is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to paediatric patients. As a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and managing a range of paediatric presentations, including non-ACC patients with persistent growth and development-related musculoskeletal conditions.
About the Role:
- Assess and manage paediatric patients with musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Contribute to quality improvement activities and service development
About You:
- You have a minimum of 2 years' clinical experience working in paediatrics
- You have good understanding of current management principles of chronic pain
- You are able to work unsupervised and contribute to interdisciplinary service development
- You have excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and whanau
