Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team at Oaks Wellington Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of the housekeeping operation, including coordinating and supervising the housekeeping team, conducting regular inspections to ensure high cleaning standards, and managing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all rooms and public areas meet the required cleaning standards.
  • Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new staff members.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments.

Requirements

  • 6 months - 2 years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in using relevant software applications.
  • Availability to work full-time hours, including weekends and public holidays.
