About the Role

Tangram is seeking a reliable Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team in Masterton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that vehicles are parked legally and safely.

In this role, you will be actively engaging with the public, issuing penalty charge notices, and helping to educate drivers about parking rules. You will also be responsible for monitoring parking areas, directing drivers and pedestrians, and reporting any issues with parking meters or signs that require maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor parking areas to ensure compliance with parking regulations.
  • Issue penalty charge notices and educate the public on proper parking rules.
  • Direct drivers and pedestrians, advising on appropriate parking areas.
  • Patrol local council car parks and ensure parking meters are functioning.

Requirements:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Have a full, valid driver's license.
  • Be available to work the required roster.
  • Be a NZ or Australian citizen or hold a valid NZ Work Visa.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to work.
