Job Overview: We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Adult Congenital Cardiology Clinician/Practitioner to join our team at Northern Regional Alliance. Our Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) service is part of Te Toka Tumai and based at Auckland City Hospital, a leading university teaching hospital.
About the Role: As a key member of our Paediatric & Congenital Cardiac Service (PCCS), you will provide expert care to patients with congenital heart disease, working closely with our multidisciplinary team. If you are a Cardiology Registrar/trainee, Fellow, SMO/senior doctor, or Nurse Practitioner with experience or an interest in upskilling in Adult Congenital Cardiology, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality patient care, conducting consultations, and assessments. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, protocols, and education programs. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Overseas doctors will require EPIC source verification of their qualifications for registration purposes.
