Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity
The Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) and General Adult Cardiology services are part of Health New Zealand and are based at Auckland City Hospital, which is a 700 bed university teaching hospital. The Greenlane Paediatric & Congenital Cardiac Service (PCCS) is the national provider for Paediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in New Zealand, providing services to the people of Auckland as well as national services for ACHD surgical and complex ACHD medical patients.
We have a full time permanent position available for a Cardiologist with sub-specialty training in adult congenital heart disease. You will be joining a highly motivated clinical team of physicians, senior nursing and psychology staff with dedicated administrative support. The position will be 0.5 FTE ACHD and 0.5 FTE general adult cardiology.
You must hold FRACP (or equivalent) and be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ. Candidates from outside of NZ are encouraged to apply and our experienced Recruitment Advisors are happy to answer your questions about coming to live and work in Auckland.
You will also be eligible for an honorary position with the University of Auckland, School of Medicine.
