The Role We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong ability to build robust systems and craft seamless user experiences.
You will have a skillset across the Full Stack with a strong bias towards front-end development, paired with expertise in system architecture and platform optimization.
In this role, you will take the lead in enhancing the workflows of our web application, Evo, ensuring a smooth, intuitive, and efficient user journey.
Your work will involve optimizing the front-end experience while integrating unstructured data from our other Seequent applications into the system.

Please note, this will be a hybrid position based out of the Christchurch Seequent office.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Design and develop sophisticated software applications, components, and modules that push the boundaries of technology.
Leverage cutting-edge modelling techniques to adhere to top-tier software design standards, guidelines, patterns, and methodologies.
Create and communicate diverse design perspectives to address stakeholders' concerns while meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.
Create models, simulations, and prototypes of software behaviour to gain stakeholder approval and ensure smooth construction, verifying designs with advanced methods.
Mentor and technically lead fellow software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
To be successful in this role, you should have: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
Extensive experience in web development.
7+ years working with web SPAs: React, Angular, Ember.
Familiarity with web APIs.
Experience working with cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience mentoring and leading technical projects.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (i.e.
GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
Additional Information Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch, New Zealand office three or more days per week.
