Te Whiwhinga mahi| The opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Systems and Practice Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will manage and improve Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) technology systems, digital tools, and programmes within our Safety Management System (SMS) framework.
You will work closely with various departments to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of safety systems and programmes.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Design, develop, and implement HSW programmes and initiatives.Develop and enhance digital tools and systems to support safety strategies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align safety programmes with organisational strategies.Oversee the implementation and communication of safety projects and initiatives.Develop and support comprehensive HSW training programmes.Continuously improve the SMS platform and identify opportunities for automation.Promote compliance with organisational policies and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Na tau rourou | What will you bring? As well as having significant experience in a position similar to that of a Safety Systems and Practice Specialist, we are also looking for someone who has:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, LMS, and data visualisation tools.Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align system development with business needs.Technical problem-solving and process improvement mindset.Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 45001.Proven facilitation and interpersonal skills.Experience in influencing key stakeholders to achieve safety-based outcomes.At AT, we embrace inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.
