An exciting opportunity has been created for two Accountant/Payroll Administrators to join our Capstone Hotels & Resorts Hotel team.
These are full-time permanent positions, based in Richmond, Tasman.The successful applicants will be key members of the team and will be flexible and responsive with a positive, approachable manner.
They should relate well with a wide range of people and be both confident working independently and willing to participate fully as a team member.Reporting to our Financial Controller, you'll be performing a wide range of accounting and administration functions for 3-4 assigned hotels: Payroll, Accounts Payable, preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and reports, ownership of the account's inbox for each hotel, and various ad hoc duties to support other members of our team.
Excellent time management skills are essential to ensure reporting is completed within relevant timeframes and to meet our reporting and filing deadlines.The ideal applicants will have exceptional attention to detail as the highest level of accuracy is required for this role, which has a strong focus on preparing and analysing financial reports.
A comprehensive knowledge of Payroll and HR would be advantageous as the role does include payroll preparation.Preference will be given to applicants with experience within an accounting environment and proficiency in using Xero Accounts software.A New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required.
